HEY THERE, NEW YORK CITY!
I’m coming to town for BookExpo America, and I’m very, very excited about it. All the BEA events are restricted to people with passes to the convention. HOWEVER, I am also doing one public, all-ages gig — a reading organized by the lovely people of Tumblr. Come talk to me! I will sign your book!
Thursday, May 30, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Writers of Tumblr party at Housing Works
Housing Works Bookstore Cafe
126 Crosby Street
Okay, I don’t know much about this event yet. It’s open to the public — and there will be other Tumblr-loving authors reading, not just me. (Also, I think, refreshments.) This is a really cool bookstore, so you should stop by someday. Even if you can’t stop by and see me.
Friday, May 31, 10 a.m.
BookExpo America – Young Adult Buzz Author Panel
With Anna Jarzab, Cristin Terrill, Amy Rose Capetta and Sara Farizan
Javits Center, Uptown Stage
Friday, May 31, 11:30 a.m.

OH MY GOD, LEAKYCON!
Portland, Oregon! Sloe gin fizz!
So last year I went to LeakyCon, a giant Harry Potter/fandom convention, for the first time — and I NERDED OUT. I had the best time.
Part of the convention is the Lit Track, a day full of panels and signings with Young Adult authors … Well, this year I get to be PART OF THAT PARTY. And I am EXCITED. (Just in case you weren’t picking up on all these capital letters.)
If you’d like to come see me (and Maureen Johnson and Stephanie Perkins and David Levithan AND MORE), check out the LeakyCon site.
There’s a fee to attend the convention, and an additional fee to attend the Lit Track day. But there is SO MUCH BANG for your buck.
